Despite the parasites this is one of my favorite things about Hanoi. Its all out there. The chichen with the head still on; like fish; with a blank expression, the dog without the head, snakes in bottles, the pissing man, rats.. Everything, keeps you aware along with the chaotic traffic. Also, its acceptable to carry anything on a bike as long as you can pull it off, I've seen 5pigs, 1 bed, a treadmill...
